Each sheet is divided into “Application Form,” “Curriculum Vitae,” “Statement of Reasons for Studying Abroad,” “Letter of Financial Support,” and “Letter of Pledge” in one Excel file, so please type in the necessary information.
Precautions for Submission of Documents [Common to Application Documents I and II]
- Please make sure that the form is filled in or typed by the applicant and the financial sponsor in their own handwriting and that it is complete.
- No corrections or correction fluid may be used. If there are any errors, please rewrite them on a new form.
- Some required documents may differ depending on the applicant’s situation and country. Please note that you may be asked to submit separate documents if necessary.
- Copy size should be A4 size, single-sided. Also, please write the date (year, month and day) of the photocopy and the name of the person who made the photocopy in the lower right corner of the form.
A Japanese translation is required for submission to the Immigration Bureau.
- All documents prepared in a language other than Japanese must be accompanied by a Japanese translation on a separate sheet of paper.
- The Japanese translation should include the date (year and month) the translation was made and the translator’s name in the lower right corner of the form.
- If translation from native language to Japanese is difficult, documents translated into native language English Japanese can be accepted.
- Any format is acceptable. Please make it clear which document is the translation by contrasting it with the original.
