” I like reading and understanding to read newspapers and magazines.”

Please tell us the reasons why you chose Daiki Japanese Language School Tokyo.

I didn’t know much about Japanese language schools, so an acquaintance introduced me to this school.

How is your Japanese class?

It is difficult but fun. I especially like “reading comprehension,” which is reading newspapers and magazines. The other day, I read an article about transgender people in class. It was about transgender students at a women’s university, and I learned not only Japanese but also about society.
There are a lot of tests at Daiki Japanese Language School Tokyo, but if you don’t pass, there is always a makeup test. If you don’t pass the test, you will have to take a makeup test many times until you pass. I think this is a very good system because if you do it many times, you will definitely be able to learn Japanese.
Part-time jobs may be important, but studying is the most important thing, so I hope that international students who are going to enter Daiki Japanese Language School Tokyo will also study hard.

How is your life in Tokyo?

Tokyo is much busier than Colombo (Sri Lanka). There are more people, and everyone is working all the time…
But it’s convenient and easy to live in. We can go by bus in Colombo, but we can go anywhere by train in Tokyo.

Please tell us about your part-time job.

I work at McDonald’s. I make burgers and handle the cash register. The hourly wage is 1,000 yen. I work four days a week, seven hours a day. The manager is very kind and easy to work with.
